The Commission for Export Promotion - PROMPEX - was created by Legislative Decree Nº 805 dated March 29, 1996 that became effective on April 4, 1996. Prompex is a government institution which goal is to contribute to the Peruvian exports development, in coordination with the industrial sector and other government agencies involved in Peru's foreign trade.
